Gleneagles Castle consists of the very ruined remains of a 14th or 15th century keep and courtyard, with traces of other buildings. Part of the keep survives to the height of three storeys.
The basement does not appear to have been vaulted, but contained the kitchen and three cellars. A hall on the first floor was vaulted and there were probably at least two further storeys above this. There are remains of a stair in one corner.
